Stonebridge is seeking senior level .NET consultants/developers to deliver custom solutions on the Microsoft platform.
Primary Duties:
Work on medium and large-sized (sites/locations), desktop and web projects, where design is complex.
Gather, analyze, and document clients feature requirements and objectives, including diagramming their "as is" and "to be" technical architecture.
Assist clients in re-engineering their "to be" business processes to take advantage of the new capabilities exposed in the Microsoft development tool platform.
Apply basic consulting methodologies to provide design support on engagements and deliver solution recommendations.
Development of solutions based upon technical specifications and designs using Microsoft tools and technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, XML, WPF, WCF, and Silverlight.
Experience with MVC and MVP design patterns is preferred.
Requirements:
1. 3-7 years designing and delivering technical solutions on the Microsoft platform.
2. 3-5+ years exp. developing solutions using a combination of .NET technologies, SQL Server 2005/2008 and Web Services.
3. In Depth knowledge of one or more Microsoft application development languages (C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, WPF, WCF, and Silverlight 3.5 required/4.0 preferred)
4. In depth knowledge of .NET Frameworks - 3.5 required / .Net Framework 4.0 desired.
5. Experience leading a small team in a technical capacity as well as be part of a larger team.
6. Experience and understanding of SDLC, MSF, waterfall, Agile and other standard methodologies.
7. Extensive experience architecting and implementing multi-layer architectures, capable of producing high quality code and applying multiple technologies to accomplish enterprise business intelligence solutions.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in IT/computer sciences; or business
Industry Experience:
Consulting industry experience preferred; IT experience in energy (O&G, E&P) preferred.
Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to speak in technical and business terms at a level appropriate for the given situation
Candidates should expect to be problem solvers and strong in regards to critical thinking and experience working alongside database administrators, data architects, system teams, users, as well as management at all levels.
