OSRP, LLC is a subsidiary of PC Mall that provides back office services and support for IT, call center, graphics and accounting to PC Mall’s headquarters and other subsidiaries throughout the U.S. and Canada. This is a full-time position in Manila, Phillipines.........There is no relocation assistance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related discipline is required.
• Equivalent work experience and technical training will be considered.
• More than 8 years of relevant java experience in managing application design, software development, maintenance and delivery.
• Strong experience with Web architecture and Web design and development tools and languanges such as JSP, JDBC, Java Servlets, Javabeans/EJBs, Javascript, SOAP, XML/XSLT, HTML, Struts, ANT, CVS, Apache Tomcat, Eclipse.
• Knowledge, skills and experience required Object-oriented analysis and design techniques
• Proficiency in Java SQL MS SQL or experience with other relational DB Unix networking Development tools
• At least one Java IDE and debugger, version control software, ant Internet - understanding of basic Web protocols and patterns (HTTP, security etc)
• Experience with one or more application servers
• Ability to quick learn new tools and techniques
• Ability to deal with complex situations and be a problem solver
• Experience with Version Control software such as CVS
• Ability to multitask UML J2EE & JSP
Responsibilities:
• A Senior Developer within team is responsible for the technical design and technical documentation of projects that have been specified by Program Management in addition to the tasks and responsibilities of a Senior Developer.
• They work with the Development Manager on a project, where the Development Manager is responsible for the delivery of the project as specified and the Architect is responsible for specifying exactly what is to be built to meet the requirements of the Business.
• Responsible for architecting systems that meet all the functional and performance requirements specified by the Functional requirements document.
• Reviews Business Plans and Functional Requirement Documents Involved in Technical Specification review Produce Technical Specification and System Documentation of assigned projects
• Strives to maximize reuse of existing software components developed by OCRP and third parties, and to make new components reusable
• Explains to developers the Architectural vision of the project Delegates parts of the technical design of assigned projects to developers in conjunction with the Development Manager.
