Job Description:
6th Street Consulting is seeking individuals to work closely with our clients in designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft SharePoint solutions. Candidates should have at least three years experience with Microsoft Development platform as well as experience with Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) and the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS). This position requires the ability to work as part of a team.

Required Technical Skill Qualifications:
•3+ years of experience as a Microsoft .NET developer primarily with C#
•3+ years of SharePoint development and implementation experience primarily focused on the creation of custom web parts
•Extensive experience with development of web based applications using .NET, C#, ADO.NET, AJAX, JQuery and XSLT
•Broad experience with .NET Framework to include .NET 2.0 and ASP.NET 2.0
•Experience consulting with clients on the design and business value of portal solutions
•Experience working with internal business processes and developing detailed plans on how to effectively deploy SharePoint throughout an enterprise environment
•Experience with large-scale applications in a leadership role
•Demonstrable experience developing solution architecture
•Leadership experience throughout the software lifecycle
•Excellent communication skills and professional appearance essential
Helpful Qualifications:
•Four-year college degree and consulting background preferred
•MCSE 200x preferred
•Experience in database management and programming - SQL Server 2000 & 2005, TSQL, SQL Reporting Services
•Microsoft .NET development

Wage / Salary:
$25-50/hour DOE position. 20-40 hours/week. This is a contract to hire position. Full time employees receive a generous benefits package.
